Laser Vision Delaware
Improving your vision, Improving your life
Laser Vision Delaware brings to Wilmington, Delaware the most advanced technology in laser vision correction. Led by Delaware's laser vision pioneer Jeffrey Minkovitz, MD., Delaware's newest facility combines the latest equipment with the longest experience in laser eye surgery - over 20 years, since before FDA approval. Affiliated with Eye Physicians and Surgeons, PA, Dr Minkovitz along with his partners have served the Wilmington, Delaware and tristate area for over 30 years, providing laser vision correction, cataract surgery (including advanced technology implants and laser assisted surgery), treatment of retinal diseases, glaucoma and other conditions, and comprehensive eye care. We take a thoughtful approach, considering safety and results, and a customized consideration of benefits for each individual patient.
WaveLight® Allegretto Wave®
Eye-Q Laser
Delaware's newest, fastest and most advanced, the WaveLight® Allegretto Wave® Eye-Q excimer laser uses a series of technical innovations to optimize laser vision correction, providing excellent clinical results in Wavefront Optimized® and Wavefront-Guided. Now the laser is FDA-approved for topography-guided laser vision correction as well, incorporating refractive error of the eye and corneal irregularities into custom laser ablations.

Jeffrey Minkovitz, M.D.
Founder, Laser Vision Delaware
Ophthalmologist
Jeffrey Minkovitz, MD is an ophthalmologist and partner with Eye Physicians and Surgeons eyephysicians.com in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr Minkovitz specializes in laser vision correction as well as cataract surgery (including laser assisted), and is one of only a few Delaware surgeons specially trained in corneal transplantation.
Dr Minkovitz participated in the early research on Excimer Laser refractive surgery leading to its FDA approval in 1996, and has offered this procedure to his Delaware patients since approval, accompanying them out of state before Delaware had its own laser.
After performing lasers for over 15 years in Delaware at the first shared access center, Dr Minkovitz founded Laser Vision Delaware to bring the newest technology, in an up to date and comfortable facility, to the First State. Laser Vision Delaware is open to select, certified laser eye surgeons to make this advanced technology available to all Delaware patients
